Birds & Flowers Japanese Coloring Book features 20 woodblock prints curated from “Keinen Kacho Gafu (Album of Bird and Flower Pictures)” published in 1891 by Imao Keinen, one of the most famous Japanese woodblock artists. In the artworks, the birds are naturalistically presented in their native habitat, featuring beautiful Japanese plants and flowers.
The lines of illustrations on the book are carefully extracted from original prints as much as possible.
Each artwork is printed single sided so that the colored artwork can also be framed to display as wall art.
