Highly entertaining as usual
I loved all the stories in this collection. They are all worth reading. In particular Life of Chuck is moving because it is true that every person is a whole world and when they die a whole world dies with them.

This time, he will drive miles to his late fatherâs cabin and work on the first draft. But Drew faces the onset of not only a storm, but a virus he picked up from another. In the midst of these obstacles, he sees a rat, one who talks to him. The rat makes a Drew a deal, a shady one, but one that bears out.âRatâ is another exploration of reality versus imagination. The character questions it, and so does the reader. Was the rat real, or was the rat conjured by Drewâs own imagination in an effort to combat his low-confidence level? âRatâ is a unique story with authentic and true-to-life characters and a setting that remains etched in the mind. âIf it Bleedsâ contains well-crafted imaginative stories and will sit well alongside Kingâs other collections.

Gostei por ser contos. Eles sempre forma o forte de King. Nada de terror propriamente dito, o que também aprecio, mas muito mistério e possibilidades…O melhor conto é “A vida de Chuck”. Uma lição de vida, fé, e uma surpreendente narrativa de trás pra frente que deixa o leitor bem curioso.
